— Our Roots —

The Harpe Ranch Vineyard is located at approximately 1,500’ elevation on the north side of Philo in Anderson Valley, California. The Anderson valley is world famous for growing cool climate Pinot Noir. Warm days and cool evening breezes are perfect growing conditions for pinot vines. This 47+ year old vineyard has been rehabilitated, preserving the healthy old vines and interplanted with new pinot vines. The old vines are Swiss Clone 2A-Wadenswill on St. George rootstock. An additional 2 acres came into production in 2018 with an anticipated total of 250 cases by 2021.

Owned by Redwood & Wine Family LLC, the ranch is also a working redwood tree farm. Webb Harpe, the original manager of Harpe Ranch, was awarded the California Tree Farmer of the Year in 2009.
